Players at this age are just starting their soccer journey and are just being introduced to the concept of a sports environment. The weekly 30-minute session consist of various skills and coordination exercises partnered with small games on a rotational basis. Players are grouped by age and gender.
IMPORTANT: Due to the age of the players, we require 1 parent to accompany each child to the field. The parent must be present near their player during all sessions.
Sessions are run by our most talented senior youth players, who are beginning their coaching journey at the club. The coaches are trained through Canada Soccer, and guided/supervised by our academy staff coaches. If you are interested in helping as a coach, click here to visit our Careers and Coaching page.
The registration fee includes a training shirt, black shorts and socks, and a soccer ball. The uniform will be handed out during the month of May - more details to be shared when confirmed. Players are required to wear the given uniform, protective shin guards and shoes at all sessions (can be bought at any sports store). Soccer cleats are allowed and recommended for all age groups but not necessary.
IMPORTANT: Players are required to bring their soccer ball to each session. We please ask the parent/guardian to clearly identify the ball with the player's name.
