Ottawa TFC coaches strive to continually improve their craft of teaching, guiding and inspiring our young players. Our coaches have high level playing experience, and seek the highest possible level of coaching and teaching education available to them.
General Manager
High Performance Staff Coach
Having played professionally in Czech Republic and at the NCAA D1 level with Liberty University, Pavel has developed into a top-level coach. With experience in both Canadian and American university environments, he arrived at Cumberland United as the club's first Technical Director in 2009.
Since then, Pavel has led the club's meteoric rise from a small local community organization to one of the most respected youth clubs in the province. While his contributions go much beyond what we have space for here, he has established a culture of passion and excellence while driving continuous innovation across programs and driving home unique projects such as the High Performance Academy, Sports-Études program and Orleans Dome. Holding a UEFA A license (amongst others), he serves today as the General Manager and is heavily involved in our High Performance Academy.
Technical Director
U13-U18 Girls Competitive Director
With a resume that includes over 30 years of coaching (at youth and collegiate levels) and 15 years of experience managing youth programs, Raz has developed a reputation for being a caring, dedicated and passionate leader around the soccer community in Ottawa.
Having built Ottawa TFC predecessor Capital United from the ground up and helped the club achieve provincial success, he has been recognized for his selfless work on and off the field. Raz holds a Canada Soccer National A License and now serves as the club’s Technical Director.
Grassroots Technical Director
U11-U12 Boys Staff Coach
Kaden serves as Ottawa TFC's Associate Technical Director. Having grown up playing his entire youth career with OTFC's predecessor Cumberland Cobras, he is now involved in multiple areas of the club and has led our Grassroots Program since 2018, while also co-leading the U11-U12 Boys Academy & Competitive programs.
Kaden holds a National Children's Diploma, the highest available Canada Soccer license for programs of this age group, and serves as a captain for our Men's First Team.
High Performance Director
Brogan grew up playing for the club (Cumberland United at the time) and was quickly recognized for his talents as a goalkeeper, going on to represent Ottawa at a provincial level. His career resume includes spending over a decade in the Toronto FC Academy (then TFC II at the semi-pro level), 4 years at NCAA D1 school Liberty University, multiple call-ups to youth National Team camps, and a season with Atletico Ottawa in the CPL.
Having coached in various capacities for over a decade, he has since returned to Ottawa TFC where he plays an important role in our High Performance Academy (amongst other programs). He is working through his National Licenses, continues to be in regular contact with MLS Academies and remains a well-liked part of our culture.
Girls Programs Lead
High Performance Girls Coach
While she is perhaps best known for her charisma and energy, Jordan first made her name as one of the top female players produced in Ottawa. Her talents not only allowed her to represent Eastern Ontario at the provincial level, but to be included in the Big South's all-decade team for her NCAA D1 career at Radford University.
Since returning from the US, she has developed into an important asset at the club across the Girls Academy programs; she now head coaches our Senior Girls OPDL team and leads our U8-U10 Girls programs.

U11-U12 Girls Staff Coach
Caleb is yet another key cog in the Ottawa TFC machine who has grown up at the club since a very young age. Having first started as a player in the Academy, Caleb has since worked with just about every Girls Academy group at the club and now leads the U11-U12 programs while serving as an assistant coach in our High Performance Academy.
He holds a Canada Soccer Children's Diploma and has also played an important role in developing the club behind the scenes for a number of years.

High Performance Boys Coach
Kousha serves as Ottawa TFC’s Boys Competitive Director. Having grown up playing his entire youth career with Ottawa TFC’s predecessor Cumberland Cobras, he is now involved in multiple areas of the club, including our boys High Performance Academy.
Kousha holds a National B Diploma and is heavily involved in the success and growth of the club's programs. His presence and approach is always appreciated by his players, making him an important piece of our culture.
Sports-Études Program Director
High Performance Girls Coach
Pat has coached at the club for over 15 years in various roles. Growing up in the community, he played high-level soccer and hockey and later saw both of his daughters earn NCAA Division 1 scholarships through the club.
Pat has led almost every High Performance girls generation in recent years and has directed the Sports-Études program since 2023. He’s won provincial championships and seen teams finish 1st and 4th at National Championships. Currently working through the national coaching licenses, Pat is a passionate, hardworking, and well-liked coach by everyone who works alongside him.
U9-U10 Boys Staff Coach
Boys Pre-Academy Coach
Having played at the university level in France and contributed to developing the game in multiple communities around the world, Abdoul now oversees our U9-U10 Boys programs at the club.
His coaching journey since moving to Canada has seen him coach at fellow OPDL club Markham FC and work with other programs at Ottawa TFC, including our U7-U8 Pre-Academy, U11-U12 Academy and U13 Regional team.
U11-U12 Boys Staff Coach
After having now played in the club's Grassroots, Competitive, Academy and Adults programs over the course of nearly 20 years, Will has grown into a key role that includes a decade of coaching in those very programs, primarily in the U9-U12 Boys Academy and other Grassroots programs.
He has also led marketing efforts on social media and behind the scenes, in addition to bringing other projects to life... including this website! He holds a Canada Soccer C-License and co-leads the U11-U12 Boys program.
High Performance Boys Coach
Open Programs Lead
Born and raised in Ireland, Cian has played professionally for a few League of Ireland clubs and in the USL, as well as at the university level in both the NCAA and Canada.
Having earned his coaching licenses through the Irish FA, he also has a wide range of youth coaching experience across Canada, the US and Ireland. Today, he works closely with our U11-U14 Academy Boys groups and oversees the club's Open Programs.
Club Goalkeeper Coach
Shane has been involved in soccer since the 80s, playing at the highest levels in the region as a goalkeeper. Specialized as a goalkeeper coach since 2008, he has held an Ontario Goalkeeper Coach Diploma for over a decade.
Shane has been with Ottawa TFC since 2018, training keepers from U6 to the adult ages, across all levels from recreational to OPDL. He is responsible for significant progress in the club’s youth goalkeeper development thanks to his positive and detailed approach, which continues to be appreciated by the players he works with!
Men's First Team Coach
Boys Competitive Coach
After growing up at OTFC predecessor Capital United, Toni went on to play at Carleton University and win a provincial title as a captain at Algonquin College. He then played at semi-pro level in the CSL and League 1 Ontario for a few clubs, also winning an Ontario Cup with Gloucester Celtic.
Toni started coaching at a young age, beginning at the Regional level with his boyhood club Capital United. Since the latter merged to become Ottawa TFC, he has gone on to coach OPDL teams as part of our Elite Academy and continued to find success with our Regional teams. He now leads the Men’s First Team program and is currently completing his CONCACAF B License.
Pre-Academy Staff Coach
U11-U12 Boys Programs Coach
Logan has grown up at Ottawa TFC and has been coaching in our Grassroots, Competitive and Academy programs for many years. His leadership qualities are apparent and he sets by example as a player and as a coach.
He is continuing his coaching journey throughout university and is taking on more and more responsibilities at the club, including leadership roles in the Grassroots programs and Pre-Academy.
