This program is played in a 4v4 format, is open to all, and is designed to be a fun environment where players share their passion for the game. Aligning with Canada Soccer's perspective that "the game is the best teacher", prescribed instruction is moderated in return for creating an environment where players touch the ball often and interact among their peers. At the sessions, players will be grouped appropriately by age, gender, and experience.
Please note that the base game format will be 4v4, but may change week-to-week to accommodate the number of players registered or in attendance. Teams will be formed at the field as players arrive. Matches will last 5-10 minutes before players rotate to face new opponents.
Sessions are overseen by Ottawa TFC senior youth players, who act as "Game Leaders" and ensure that maximum time is spent playing. These "Game Leaders" are trained through Canada Soccer, and guided/supervised by our academy staff coaches. If you are interested in helping as a "Game Leader", click here to visit our Careers and Coaching page.
