OTTAWA TFCSOCCER CLUB
The U9-U18 Skills Centre is an optional additional program which provides extra skills development opportunities for U9-U18 Competitive and Academy players who are looking for an extra day on the field.
The sessions are highly recommended for aspiring young players looking to step up from the Competitive level to the Academy level, or for those who simply wish to improve their game and gain the skills and confidence needed to excel and enjoy the game to its fullest. It is the extra step to bridge Competitive players towards the Academy tier. While the program welcomes players aged 9 to 18, groups will be formed according to age and ability to ensure a positive and challenging training environment for all.
Eligibility: boys & girls born 2007-2016
Commitment: 1 session/week (Fridays)
Season dates: May 30 - Aug. 29 (12 weeks)

Space is limited!
The program is run by our Academy and Competitive coaching staff. Players are grouped each training day by size and ability. With a curriculum that is largely focused on ball mastery, individual technical skills and 1v1 battles, these sessions are designed to help players become more confident with the ball at their feet in game scenarios.
Note that while the Skills Centre consists of an additional training session for current Ottawa TFC Competitive or Academy players only, it is not formally part of any base Competitive or Academy program. Players must register for the Skills Centre program separately. Those participating in the Skills Centre will still be expected to fulfill their entire Competitive or Academy commitment.
The program will be lead by the overall Ottawa TFC Technical Staff. If you have any questions, please communicate directly with your usual Academy/Competitive program's Staff Coach.

Players are simply required to wear their usual Competitive/Academy training uniform, protective shin guards and cleats at all sessions.
Ottawa TFC will be taking a summer break during which programs will not run, unless otherwise stated. This season's break will take place between Monday July 21 and Sunday August 3, 2025. Activities will be resuming as scheduled on Monday August 4, 2025. Note that is this subject to change, pending Ontario Soccer's announcement and final decision.
Therefore, there will be no sessions on July 25 and August 1, 2025.

Withdrawals: visit our Refunds & Withdrawals page to request a credit or refund. All refunds are subject to the Refund Policy. Only approved requests will be processed. Note that evaluation fees are non-refundable.
