Ottawa TFC Men's "First Team"

The Ottawa TFC Men's "First Team" represents the top of the club's competitive pyramid. The team will train weekly as well as having games in the OSCL Men's Premier League. This is a program for committed players who are interested in training regularly with proper coaching, and who will represent the club with pride and passion. Players will work on adapting strategies, establish pre-training and game routines while maintaining optimal physical and psychological fitness.

This is a program for committed players who are interested in training regularly with proper coaching, and who will represent the club with pride and passion. Players will work on adapting strategies, establish pre-training and game routines while maintaining optimal physical and psychological fitness.

Details about the program

  • Orleans - Millennium Park (2010 Trim Rd)
  • 2-3 training sessions weekly (depending on when we are in the season)
  • 1-2 weekly games (OCSL League, across the city of Ottawa):
    • Men's games: Thursday
    • Women's games: Monday
  • Participation in the Ontario Cup
  • Mid-April to end of August (20 weeks)

What equipment does the fee include?

The registration fee includes a training shirt, red shorts and socks. Players are required to wear the given uniform, protective shin guards and shoes at all sessions.

Player requirements

OTFC follows FIFA and Ontario Soccer (OS) Policy states which require that all jewellery, including but not limited to earrings and watches, must be removed. Taping earrings is also not allowed. Casts – Hard casts are not permitted.

Players and parents must abide to the Ottawa TFC Return to Play Protocol and the Code of Conduct.
