U4 Intro Program

First steps... Who is Ottawa TFC?

Ottawa TFC is honored to introduce the beautiful game of soccer to your child. Recognized as a National level club by Canada Soccer, Ottawa TFC's ultimate goal for Grassroots programs is to ensure that your child participates in a safe, fun and social environment, and learns the basic skills of the game.

What can I expect as new soccer parent?

Players at this age are starting their "careers" in soccer and need to develop their skills appropriately. The weekly 30-minute session consist of various skills exercises as well as small games on a rotational basis. Players are grouped by age and gender.

The sessions themselves are run by our most talented senior youth players, who are beginning their coaching journey at the club. The coaches are trained and licensed through Canada Soccer, and guided/supervised by our academy staff coaches. An Ottawa TFC staff coach oversees each session. If you are interested in helping as a coach, click on the 'Coaches Wanted' picture (some compensation provided for selected coaches).
