4v4 Winter League U13-U18

4v4 Recreational Winter League Description

NOTE 1: The U13-U18 4v4 Winter League is being merged with the U9-U12 3v3 Winter Programme.  Games will be organised in a "Champions League" format so that older kids are playing older kids and younger kids are playing younger kids in small-sided games (3v3 or 4v4, depending upon attendance).  There will be a parent volunteer coach or OTFC Youth Coach managing each game.

NOTE 2: The Winter League has reached its registration limit.  You can still register to be on the waiting list.  If someone withdraws, the next player on the waiting list will be invited to join.

This is the introductory level of soccer at Ottawa TFC.  Whether you are new to the sport and want to try it out or have experience playing but don’t wish to play at a competitive level, this is the programme for you!  Test the sport and play for the enjoyment of playing.  In this fun atmosphere, players will learn how to be comfortable with the ball at their feet, grow as players and will expand their love of the game.

Once again we will be heading to our indoor soccer fields for this winter, where we enjoyed a fun and popular season last year, despite the pandemic!  Each Saturday we will play at the Superdome Sports Centre in Gloucester (on Bearbrook Rd) for an hour between 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM (09h00 to 10h00).  This will be a fun "4v4" or "3v3" session in a "Champions League" format in which teams move "up" and "down" as they win and lose games so that the play is always fast, fun and balanced.  Players will have lots of "time on the ball" at every session.

Get your long-sleeves on and come play!

Facility Restrictions:

The Gloucester Dome does not currently allow spectators in its facility.  These are rules that are external to our club and beyond the club’s control.  We strive to abide by the rules while concentrating on offering the best soccer experience possible.  OTFC staff work very hard to build the best possible environment for kids to grow and develop, and this includes extensive efforts to abide by the ever-changing rules and regulations around COVID-19.  As everyone’s patience for COVID-19 policies inevitably wears thinner, let’s please strengthen our resolve and remain flexible, positive and hard-working to do the best we can for our kids and our club.
