The Skills Center adds a once weekly technical practice for competitive players/teams U13-U17.  The program will be run by Academy/Competitive coaches from Ottawa TFC.  For Junior (U13-U14) Regional teams, the skills center is mandatory.   

Players can expect age appropriate exercises focused on ball mastery, passing/receiving, 1v1 abilities, shooting, physical literacy and of course small sided games.

The sessions are highly recommended to aspiring young players looking to step up to the Academy level or to just improve their game and gain the skills and confidence needed to excel and enjoy the game to its fullest.  It is the extra step to bridge competitive players to the academy tier.

The weekly extra training program begins in mid-May and runs through the end of the summer season.
