CUSC is awarded the OSA's Club Excellence GOLD Award

The Cumberland United Soccer Club achieves OSA's Club Excellence Gold Award.

The Ontario Soccer Association’s Club Excellence Award Program is a province-wide recognition program for effectively run soccer clubs, offering safe, healthy and enjoyable environments for all involved. The Award is made up of criteria at three different levels (Bronze, Silver and Gold), a set of technical standards that complement the current areas of Governance, Personnel, and Community. Clubs are able to achieve any level of the Club Excellence Award provided evidence of the criteria has been achieved from the preceding level. Achievement of the Club Excellence Award is a combined effort from the Club, District Associations, Leagues and the OSA.

This year, Clubs are recognized through their commitment to ‘live’ the Award which is a change from previous years, where Clubs could adopt a range of policies and subsequently be awarded. Clubs are now required to provide evidence that policy and procedures have been in place prior to their consideration of an Award.  This is what makes this Award so special!

Congratulations to all the volunteers, players, parents, staff and everyone who make up the CUSC family.
